Lavandula angustifolia
My lovingly tended lavender bushes yield a sweeter-than-some lavender scented hydrosol loaded with an abundance of therapeutic compounds. As with all my hydrosols, I leave any essential oil extracted during distillation within the final solution. Both the essential oil and the hydrosol contain their own therapeutic properties, and so you get the best of both worlds within the hydrosol. Lavender hydrosol is anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, and helps control anxiety.
The scent is pungent and herby-sweet, and makes a great night-time skin toner.
