Chrysopogon zizanioides
Vetiver hydrosol is distilled from the green, woodsy scented perennial (zones 9-11) grass widely used in perfumes. It has proven anti-anxiety and anti-stress benefits, the ability to gently regulate brain function (learning, memory and sleep), and demonstrates significant anti-aging effects in at least two ways: by stimulating and fortifying the skin’s lipid barrier for increased hydration, and by reducing wrinkle depth.
The scent is pleasantly earthy and grounded.
