Like a modern-day Ancient Greek Strigil, my Shower Cookie will help remove dirt and dead skin while leaving your skin soft and smooth and preserving your natural microbiome. It is designed for the body; for the face, use my Face Polish.
Shower Cookie is water activated by droplets, and should be used at the end of your shower with the faucet off, while you are still dripping wet.
Rub the bar in your hands to form a paste. Massage into your body until the emulsion is spread evenly. I use this time to practice Abhyanga (self-massage) using both Face Polish and Shower Cookie. Small rolls of skin pilling may form.
Gently rinse yourself, then sweep off excess droplets with your hands and pat yourself dry with a towel. I need to brush my cuticles when I’m done to remove any accumulated product.
No additional body lotion or oil is needed after stepping out of the shower, saving you time and energy. Your skin is now exfoliated, nourished and protected for the rest of the day.
