Description
My Shampoo formula is designed to deliver maximum nourishment to the scalp and shining volume to the hair shaft. I include a bit of Menthol for a cooling tingle, Gluconolactone (a mild exfoliating PHA), and Caffeine, which promotes growth of hair follicles.
Hydrolyzed Rice Protein increases total hair volume and is rich in amino acids.
The lipid base is of Rice Bran Oil, known to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth, that has been infused with my custom blend of herbs including ginseng, ku shen, kudzu, green tea and amla (Gooseberry) to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss.
I combine this with all-natural, biodegradable surfactants derived from Coconut Oil and *all-natural fragrance with no phthalates or synthetic aromas.
My Shampoo Bar is designed for use with my Conditioner Bar or Leave-in Conditioner, and works best for those who wash their hair infrequently (1-2 times per week). I found that the need to wash any more frequently than 1-2 times per week disappeared after my scalp biome was balanced out by my Shampoo Bar.
*Derived from natural, not synthetic sources; highly concentrated extracts of the scent molecules that naturally occur in essential oils, such as limonene, geraniol, linalool, etc. Natural fragrance oils are used in my deodorant and haircare bars, products which require a concentrated addition of fragrance in order to impart any scent at all. I formulate with low concentrations, well below IFRA maximum safe levels.
