Citrus sinensis ‘Cara Cara’
This was my beloved Ma’s favorite fruit, and she looked forward to their appearance in the stores every winter. They are richer than other oranges in carotenoids, and show antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Cara Cara hydrosol is the foundation of my leave-in conditioner.
The scent is a sweet, rich orange peel scent.
